A Romantic Sunrise Engagement Session at Chaguaramas Boardwalk

There’s something so peaceful about the world before it fully wakes up—and Brad and Michelle got to experience that magic during their sunrise engagement session at Chaguaramas Boardwalk. We met at 6:30 am, just as the sky was starting to light up, and took a stroll along the quiet shoreline. It felt like the whole place was just for them.

This sweet couple recently got engaged and loves visiting this area to walk and exercise, so choosing this location for their photos felt like a natural fit. Familiar spots always bring out the most authentic smiles, and theirs were glowing!

Why Choose a Sunrise Session?

I get it—early wake-up calls aren’t for everyone. But there’s a unique kind of beauty in a sunrise shoot that just can’t be replicated later in the day. For Brad and Michelle, the peaceful, uncrowded boardwalk meant their session felt super intimate and relaxed. If you’re someone who gets a little camera-shy or self-conscious around people, sunrise is your best friend.

Even with the clouds, the soft, diffused light was perfect. And if you’re lucky, you still catch that dreamy golden hour glow right after the sun peeks up. Plus, starting your day with love and fresh sea air? 10/10 recommend.

Soft Mornings + Cozy Moments at Chaguaramas Boardwalk

There was something extra special about this session—the love between Brad and Michelle brought warmth to a cool morning. You could just feel how happy and at ease they were with each other. Cozy, calm, totally in love. These are the moments that make me so grateful to do what I do!
